Another successful live action workshop! This past weekend I filled up the art cart and travelled to a beautiful event in Lancaster, PA called Women to Women. This was a unique experience where woman came to take short workshops, eat delicious food, patron local artists and above all else support each other.
During the event I hosted a one minute self portrait painting workshop (019 Mirror Self Portrait is the video this activity is based on). We broke out the dry erase markers and mirrors to reflect inward and artistically express the self without any of the stress that involves creating a self portrait from scratch ☺

I wanted to formally apologize for not having a new video up at the beginning of this month. If you are a member and have been anxiously awaiting the new technique your wait will soon be over. Soon, I will post not one new painting technique but 2! So check back then to ignite your creative fire with two juicy new techniques to try out. Once again I apologize... moving to a different state put all of my art supplies in boxes and a brief hold on One Minute Muse videos. Stay tuned my artist friends :)
In the meantime why not make a little sketch while you wait?

The Muse is embarking on a few new adventures. Firstly, you can now find one minute muse original artwork on etsy (along with the occassional graphic design project). As the video library continues to grow, so will the collection of artwork on etsy. Don't miss your chance to snag a oneminutemuse original while you can.
Secondly, I am compiling a workshop of guided art journaling meditations and techniques. I will host a FREE 30 minute workshop and also a longer 2 hour workshop on the ning community. This is all a fresh new part of my journey and I could use all the support I can get. Feel free to sign up and post any art pieces you've created. Especially, those inspired by the video training library here.
After this breif stint of commercial endeavors it will be back to soulful, philanthropic, art journaling and volunteer work. Feel free to email me through the website if you have any thoughts or questions.
